Select and Pan Scenario

Instructions for use

"Select and Pan" Drop-down Button, which can be used to set the Operation Status in Scene to be selected, Select and Pan or roaming status. ".

  • Select: Set whether the Operation Status in Scene is the status of Select Object. If the current scene is set to Select Object, you can select objects in the Scene.
  • Select and Pan: The Operation Status of selection and roaming in Scene exists at the same time. You can select objects in the scene and Pan scene.
  • Walkthrough: It is to translate and rotate the simulated earth in the Scene.

Function entrance

  • Scenario Tab-> Browse Group-> Select and PanDrop -down Button

Select the procedure

  1. After creating or opening a new Scene, click the Select and Pan Drop-down Button in the Scene tab > Browse group, and select the Select item in the pop-up drop-down menu.
  2. Move Stop by Mouse to Scene, and the mouse status changes to Select status. At this time, you can Select Object in Scene. The objects that

    can be selected include points, lines, surfaces, text, landmarks, and models in the current Scene.

  3. Directly click the object you want to select to select it, and the selected object is highlighted.
  4. If you continue to select other objects, simply go to step 3. When a new object is selected, the previously selected object is automatically deselected.
  5. To Unselect an object, you can click the left mouse button elsewhere in the scene (that is, where there is no Object to Select) to Select Cancel.
  6. To end the Select Object operation, click the Select and Pan "button in the Browse group, and switch the Select Object status to the Roaming status to cancel the Select Object status in the Scene.

Select and Pan Procedure

  1. After creating or opening a new Scene, click the button part of the Select and Pan item in the Scene tab > Browse group; Or click the Select and Pan "Drop-down Button, and select the Select and Pan option in the pop-up drop-down menu.
  2. The mouse Operation Status of the current Scene will be switched to the Select and Pan status.
  3. When pressing the left mouse button and dragging the mouse in the current Scene, the scene can be translated to realize roaming operation; when clicking the left mouse button on the selectable object, the object can be selected to realize selection operation.

Roaming operation steps

  1. After creating or opening a new Scene, click the Drop-down Button section of the Select and Pan item in the Scene tab > Browse group, and select the Walk item from the drop-down menu that pops up. Switch the Operation Status of the current Scene to the roaming status.
  2. Move Stop by Mouse to the Scene, and the mouse status changes to the selection status, that is, you can roam and browse in the current Scene.
  3. Press and hold the left mouse button at an appropriate position on the surface of the earth in the Scene, and drag the mouse at the same time. With the dragging of the mouse, the earth rotates. When the scene displays a local small area enlarged on the surface of the earth, with the dragging of the mouse, the picture in the Scene shows the effect of translation.
  4. Release the mouse to complete a walkthrough. If you need to continue the roaming operation, repeat the operation in step 2.

Precautions

  1. The selected Layer of Object must be visible and can be selected before the object can be selected; otherwise, the object cannot be selected.
  2. Only one object can be selected at a time in the scene.
  3. The "Select" function can also be implemented by clicking the right mouse button in the window and clicking the "Select" button in the pop-up menu when there is no object selected in the Scene.
  4. After Select Objects, right-click the mouse and select the "Attributes" item in the pop-up shortcut menu to browse the Attributes of Select Objects in the pop-up "Attributes" window.
  5. If Select is performed on the 2D map of Add to Current scene, only point, line, surface and Text in the map can be selected (Text will not be highlighted after being selected). Select can only be performed when the layer in the original map is set to be selectable and the map is added to the scene.
