I3S to S3M

Usage Instructions

The I3S to S3M function supports converting I3S 1.2~1.3 data compliant with the OGC community standard and I3S 1.7~2.1 data compliant with the open-source community Github specification into S3M tile data. It currently supports converting I3S data generated from source data such as oblique photogrammetry 3D models, BIM, detailed urban models, building white models, point clouds, and external point-attached models into S3M data.

Function Entry

  • 3D Data Tab -> 3D Tiles Group -> I3S to S3M Button
  • Toolbox -> 3D Data -> Tile Tools -> I3S -> S3M

Operation Steps

  1. Click the 3D Data Tab -> 3D Tiles Group -> I3S to S3M button. The I3S -> S3M dialog box will pop up.
  2. Set parameters such as the SLPK file path, result file storage path, result name, S3M version, thread count, and coordinate transformation as needed. For specific operations, refer to the Toolbox I3S -> S3M help documentation.
  3. After completing the settings, click the Run button to execute the I3S to S3M conversion. After execution, S3M tile data will be generated at the specified path.
