Instructions for use

The Extract Isosurface "function is to extract the iso-surface of the target value domain and save it as a model. This feature enables conversion from Voxel Grid to Model Data.

Operation steps

1. On the 3D Data tab, in the 3D Field Data group, in the Voxel Grid drop-down menu, click the Extract Isosurface button. The Extract Isosurface "dialog appears.
2. Setup:
   For
   • source data selection, click the Dropdown Button in the combo boxes behind Datasource and Dataset respectively, and select the Dataset where the Voxel Grid of Extract Isosurface is located.
   • Minimum Value: The minimum value initially displays the minimum strength value of the Voxel Grid. You can set a value not less than initial minimum value and not between the Greater than Maximum Value as the minimum value.
   • Maximum: The maximum value initially displays the maximum strength value of the Voxel Grid. You can set a value between not Less than Minimum Value and not greater than initial maximum value as the minimum value.
3. Result Dataset: Specifies the Datasource and the typed field as the Result Data storage address.
4. After setting the above parameters, you can execute the Extract Isosurface operation.
