Ocean effects
Function Description
By setting Parameters, special effects such as dynamic waves, real-time reflections and ship wakes can be realized to simulate real ocean scenes and improve browsing and Display Effects. Sea surface condition is closely related to marine fishery production, marine development and national defense construction, and has a great impact on the safe navigation of ships, aircraft patrol and reconnaissance, and the use of shipborne weapons, so it is necessary to show the ocean scene intuitively and truly.
Caution:
Currently, the 3D Scene rendering engine V2 does not support ocean effects.
Function entrance
- Scene tab-> Attribute group-> Scene Effects button-> Scene Effects Panel-> Ocean
Operation steps
- In Workspace Manager, open the Scene for which you want to set the ocean effect.
- On the Scene tab, in the Properties group, click the Scene Effects button to pop up the Scene Effects "panel, and select Ocean.
- Open ocean effects: Select "Open" to display and set ocean effects.
- Parameter Settings:
- Turn on reflection: Check this option to turn on sea reflection simulation.
- Spray: Check this option to enable spray simulation.
- Wind speed: you can directly enter the value as the wind speed in m/s.
- Wind direction: Set the wind direction of the sea breeze. The wind direction here refers to the clockwise angle with the north direction, and the unit is degree.
- Sea Level Height: Sets the sea level height in meters.
- Render Quality: Provides three render quality modes: Low, Medium, and High.
- Animation setting: mainly set special effects such as disturbance, impact and trail.
- The toolbar provides Add Effects , a Set Dynamic Objects , and a delete button. Add Lets you paint to add a Disturb, Shock, or Wake effect.
- Set Dynamic Objects: It is used to add a wake effect to a KML object. It needs to be used in conjunction with the wake function.
- Delete: Deletes the specified effect.
- Disturbance: It is used to simulate the special effect of disturbance. Parameter Settings are as follows:
- Disturbance Range Diameter: Sets the range diameter of the impact, in meters.
- X/Y/Z: impact point coordinate parameters are available only by adding.
- Impact: Used to simulate impact effects.
- Shock Range Diameter: Sets the range diameter of the shock wave, in meters.
- Impact Speed: Sets the speed of the shock wave in meters per second.
- Impact object mass: Sets the mass of the impact object in kilograms.
- X/Y/Z: impact point coordinate parameters are available only by adding.
- Wake: Add a wake to the corresponding ship and other models.
- Wake Length: Sets the length of the wake in meters.
- Wake Width: Sets the width of the wake in meters.
- Set Dynamic Objects: After creating a new KML Layer in Layer Manager and drawing a dynamic model, click Set Dynamic Objects. Select the objects associated with the wake in the Select Set Dynamic Objects dialog box that pops up.
