Instructions for use

The Generate 3D Tiles.. "In the voxel Raster DatasetContext Menu optimizes the viewing speed and experience of Voxel Grid data by building 3D tiles from Voxel Grid data.

Function entrance

  • Workspace Manager-> Voxel Raster Dataset Context Menu-> Generate 3D Tiles.. button

Operation steps

  1. Right-click the voxel Raster Dataset, and select Generate 3D Tiles.. "In the pop-up Context Menu. The Generate Tiles from Voxel Raster dialog box pops up, and then Add Data and set the Parameters.
  2. Source Data Settings: Add, delete and sort the source data through the toolbar

    The Top, Move Up, Move Down, and Bottom buttons can be used in combination to properly sort the Voxel Grid data.

    • Add: Click to select Target Dataset in the Select dialog box, and click OK to add to the data list.
    • Select
    • All: when there are multiple pieces of data in the data list, click the button to All DataSelect All.
    • Select Inversely: when there are multiple data in the data list, select one of the data and click to select the other All Data in the data list.
    • Delete: after selecting a data in the data list, click the button to delete the data from the data list.
    • Top: when there are multiple data in the data list, select the data other than first data in the list, and click the button to place the data in the first data list.
    • Move
    • up: when there are multiple data in the data list, select the data other than first data in the list, and click to move the data up one position in the data list.
    • Move Down: when there are multiple data in the data list, select data other than last data in the list, and click to move the data down one position in the data list.
    • Bottom: when there are multiple data in the data list, select the data other than last data in the list, and click the button to place the data in the last data list.
      Caution:
        During
      • Batch Settings Tile parameters, you need to click Enter after typing the specific parameter value to make it effective. Otherwise, it may not work to assign the same parameter value in batches.
  3. Parameter Settings: Set the Result Data storage name, path, and version.
    • Tile Name: Sets the name of the Result Data.
    • Tile Path: Set the Result Data storage path. Click the Select button on the right to quickly select the Result Data storage location in the pop-up selection dialog box.
    • S3M version number: select the version of Generate Tiles, including S3M 1.0, S3M 2.0, S3M 3.0, and S3M 3.01.
  4. Once the setup is complete, click the Run button to execute the Voxel GridBuild 3D Tile operation.
