Usage Instructions
Loading tile data in a new or existing scene window enables efficient browsing of multi-source heterogeneous data such as terrain, oblique photogrammetry 3D models, BIM, building white models, city precision models, point clouds, and vectors.
Function Access
- Scene tab -> Data group -> Tiles drop-down list
- Layer Manager -> Common Layer right-click menu -> Add Image/Vector/3D/Map Tiles button
- Layer Manager -> Terrain Layer Collection Node right-click menu -> Add Terrain Tiles
Operation Steps
Load Map Tiles
In the Layer Manager, right-click on a common layer, select the "Add Map Tiles" item, and the "Open Layer File" dialog box will pop up. Select the target map tile configuration file (*.sci), then click Open to load map tiles into the scene.
Load 3D Tiles
3D tile data includes: 3D image tile files (*.sci, *.sci3d, *.sit), 3D terrain tile files (*.sci, *.sct), and 3D vector model tile files (*.scv, *.scp). All types of 3D tile data can be loaded into the scene.
For detailed operations on loading 3D tile data, please refer to Loading Tiles.
Load Scene Tiles
After scene tiles are generated, a new workspace and several tile folders are formed. The new workspace not only stores various newly generated tile layers but also preserves the style information of each tile layer; each folder corresponds to different types of tile data, and the internal directory structure of the folders is consistent with the directory structure of their corresponding tile types.
Users can directly open the workspace file (*.smwu) corresponding to the scene tiles in the application to restore the entire 3D scene.
Additionally, you can load the generated tile data in the scene by performing the operation of loading 3D tiles. For specific details, please refer to Loading Tiles.
