Manage the obstacle points in the network layer. In Network Analysis, when a point is set as an obstacle, no other location can be reached through the point or the arc segment in which the point is located.
Operations related to obstacle points include adding obstacle points, removing obstacle points, and moving obstacle points.
- Add obstruction point
Application provides three ways to add obstacle points: Add by Mouse, Build SQL Expression, and Import. After you add a barrier point, the added barrier point is displayed in the Network Analysis Instance Management window.
- The Add by Mouse method is to click the mouse in the network layer to add an obstacle point ;
- Constructing an SQL expression is to add nodes meeting the conditions as barrier points by constructing an SQL statement; The
- import method is to import the point objects in the Point Dataset as barrier points.
- Remove Obstruction Points Select one or more obstacle points to be removed under the "Obstacle Points" directory node
in the Instance Management window, right click the mouse, and select the "Remove" item in the pop-up Context Menu to remove the obstacle points. Select the obstacle point you want to remove. You can also remove a single obstacle point by holding down the Delete key.
Right click the "Barrier Points" directory nodein the Instance Management window, and select "Remove" in the pop-up Context Menu to remove all barrier points.
Precautions
Obstruction points can be in the vicinity of or within the tolerance of network arcs and network nodes.
