Feature Description

The "Move Label" button is used to reposition labels of selected objects in the current map's Label Thematic Map. This manual adjustment helps avoid label overlapping in dense areas and optimizes the display effects of the Label Thematic Map.

Steps

1. Select target objects in the current map.
2. Click the Move Label item in the Label group under the Thematic Map tab.
3. Left-click the target position to relocate the object's label. If unsatisfied with the placement, continue left-clicking other positions until achieving optimal positioning.

Notes

• The current map must contain a Label Thematic Map.
• For point datasets and line datasets: Selected point/line objects are required for label movement. Labels for line datasets can be moved only when they are not labeled along the line.
• For area objects: Labels can be moved within their polygon boundaries without selecting the objects. This operation allows continuous adjustment of multiple area labels - simply click within any polygon to relocate its label to the clicked position.
