Creating a Unique Value Label Thematic Map

Feature Description

There are two entry points for creating a Unique Value Label Thematic Map:

  • In the Layer Manager, select a vector layer, right-click, and choose "Create Thematic Map ..." from the context menu. In the dialog box that appears, click "Unique Value Label Thematic Map" to generate a Unique Value Label Thematic Map based on the current vector layer.
  • Open the Create Thematic Map dialog for a vector layer. In the "Thematic Map" tab, within the "Label" group, click the "Unique Values Style" button to create a Unique Value Label Thematic Map.

The created Unique Value Label Thematic Map will be automatically added to the current map window and displayed as a thematic layer. Correspondingly, a thematic layer will also be added to the Layer Manager. The Thematic Map Properties Panel will pop up on the right side of the map, displaying the default settings for the current Unique Value Thematic Map. Users can then modify the thematic map's style based on these settings to achieve results that better suit their needs.
