Create Single Symbol Label Thematic Map

Feature Description

It is used to create a label thematic map with uniform style for vector layers.

When using a template, it is necessary to ensure that the field expression for the thematic map exists. If the current layer does not have the thematic map field in the thematic map template, a dialog box will pop up with the message: "thematic map cannot display properly because the expression does not exist. please specify the expression." You need to re-specify the field and then use the template to create the thematic map.

Function Entrances

  • Layer Manager->Layer context menu->Create Thematic Map->Single Symbol Label Thematic Map.
  • Thematic Map Tab->Label Group->Uniform Style Button.

Operation Steps

  1. In the Layer Manager, select a vector layer for which you want to produce thematic maps with unified labels, and then choose Create Thematic Map ... from its context menu.
  2. In the pop-up dialog box, click Default or Administrative Region Label Uniform to create a single symbol label thematic map.
  3. After successful creation, a thematic layer will be added correspondingly in the Layer Manager. You can modify the display style via the context menu's Modify Thematic Map....
Tip:

After creating a thematic map using the Default or Administrative Region Label Uniform option, the Thematic Map dialog box will pop up. You can further adjust the thematic map style based on the default rendering parameters provided by this dialog box to meet the display requirements of specific scenarios.
