Feature Description
Select a vector layer in the Layer Manager, right-click to open the context menu, choose "Create Thematic Map...", then click "Single Symbol Label Thematic Map" in the dialog box and select either "Default" or "Administrative Region Labels - Uniform Label" option to generate a Single Symbol Label Thematic Map based on the current vector layer.
When using templates, ensure the field expression for the thematic map exists. If the current layer lacks the thematic map field specified in the template, a warning dialog will appear: "The thematic map cannot be displayed properly because the specified field does not exist. Please specify the field." Users can continue creating the thematic map with templates after reselecting the appropriate field.
Steps
- Select a target vector layer in the Layer Manager to create a uniform style label map.
- Click either "Default" or "Administrative Region Labels - Uniform Label" option to create a Single Symbol Label Thematic Map.
- The template-based Single Symbol Label Thematic Map will automatically be added to the current map window as a thematic layer, and a corresponding thematic layer will appear in the Layer Manager.
- Select label expressions and adjust style parameters according to cartographic requirements for desired label display. For specific style settings, refer to Modify Single Symbol Label Thematic Map.
Notes
After creating a Single Symbol Label Thematic Map using "Default" or "Administrative Region Labels - Uniform Label" option, the Thematic Map window will automatically appear, displaying default settings of the current Single Symbol Label Thematic Map. Users can modify style parameters in this window to achieve more customized thematic map results.
