Feature Description

Supports saving thematic maps as datasets to export thematic content while preserving styling configurations. For example, saving a label thematic map as a CAD dataset retains both textual content and font styles of labels.

• All 2D vector thematic maps support export to CAD datasets, including single-value, range, label, statistical, graduated symbols, dot density, and custom thematic maps.
• 2D vector label thematic maps can be saved as text datasets.
• Only visible thematic layers at current map scale will be saved. Layers invisible at current scale will fail to save.
• Thematic objects filtered by conditional expressions or hidden due to overlap avoidance will not be saved.

Steps

1. Select the target thematic layer in Layer Manager.
2. Right-click and choose "Save As Dataset" from context menu, or click "Save As Dataset" in the "Tools" group under "Thematic Map" tab.
3. In the "Save As Dataset" dialog, specify target datasource for CAD/text dataset and input dataset name.
4. Click "OK" to complete the saving process.
