The Layout Properties feature control on the Layout tab opens the Layout Properties "interface, which organizes the various Layout Settings functions in Layout.
Layout grid
The Layout Properties interface contains settings related to grids, including whether to Show Grid, whether to support Grid Snap, and grid interval settings.
Show Grid: Display Effects used to get and set the grid.
- Check this box to Show Grid in the current layout page.
- If the check box is not checked, the Show Grid will not be displayed.
Grid Snap: Used to get and set whether automatic snap of grid is supported.
- Check this box to enable automatic grid snapping on the current layout page. When drawing a map element on a layout page, the map element can be quickly positioned to the exact location of a grid intersection.
- If this check box is not checked, mesh autosnap is not supported.
Grid interval setting
- Horizontal Interval: The spin box to the right of "Horizontal Interval:" is used to display and set the size of the horizontal interval of the grid in the layout page. The default is 100 pixels.
- Vertical Interval: The spin box to the right of Vertical Interval: is used to display and set the size of the vertical interval for the grid on the layout page. The default is 100 pixels.
Layout ruler lines
Show Graduated Scale: used to obtain and set whether the scale in Layout is displayed.
- Check this box to Show Graduated Scale on the left and top of Layout for users to position, size, and align layout elements.
- If the check box is not checked, the scale in Layout is not displayed.
Scroll bar settings
The Layout Properties interface contains functional controls for setting and controlling the current LayoutDisplay Effects.
Horizontal Scrollbar: Used to control the display/hide effect of LayoutHorizontal Scrollbar.
If this check box is checked, the Horizontal Scrollbar of Layout will be displayed when browsing the layout. You can use the Horizontal Scrollbar to pan browsing layout in the horizontal direction.
Vertical Scrollbar: Used to control the display/hide effect of LayoutHorizontal Scrollbar.
If this check box is checked, the Vertical Scrollbar of Layout will be displayed when browsing the layout. The user can use the Vertical Scrollbar to pan browsing layout in the vertical direction.
Display Scale
The Layout Properties interface contains functional controls for setting and controlling the current LayoutDisplay Effects.
- Minimum Display Scale
- Maximum Display Scale
The minimum Display Scale of Layout means that when the Layout is reduced to a certain set scale value of the whole drawing size, the Layout is no longer Zoom out.
The combo box to the right of the "Min Scale:" label is used to set the minimum Display Scale for the current Layout. The user can click the Drop-down Button of the combo box, select a scale value in the pop-up drop-down list, or directly enter a value in the text box as the minimum Display Scale of the current Layout. The system defaults that the minimum scale of Layout scaling is 10%, and the minimum value of Layout Display Scale that can be set is 1%.
The maximum Display Scale of Layout means that when the Layout is enlarged to a certain set scale value of the whole drawing size, the Layout will no longer be enlarged and displayed.
The combo box to the right of the "Max Scale:" label is used to set the current Layout maximum Display Scale. The user can click the Drop-down Button of the combo box, select a scale value in the pop-up drop-down list, or directly enter a value in the text box as the maximum Display Scale of the current Layout. The default maximum scale of Layout is 400%, and the maximum value of Layout Display Scale can be set to 1000%.
Layout background
The Background Color tab option in the Layout Properties interface is used to set the background color of the layout and paper pages.
Operating Procedure
- Click the Drop-down Button to the right of Background Color to pop up the color panel.
- Users can select Default Color in the color panel to set it as the Background of Layout and paper pages, or click the "Color Library" button at the bottom of the color panel to get more custom colors.
Note: The setting of the background color of the Layout will affect the background area of the Layout and the paper, and will be printed out.
Control Layout ObjectsDisplay Effects
In the Layout Properties interface, Contains function controls for setting and controlling Display Effects such as the current LayoutText Overlaying Display, Text Antialiasing, and Line Antialiasing.
Text Overlaying Display
When there are many Texts in Layout, mutual capping may occur. The Text Overlaying Display "check box is used to control whether the text of the gland in Layout is displayed or not. The default is that the check box is not checked. If the "Text Overlaying Display" "check box is not selected, the system will automatically filter out the input Text according to the capping condition of Text in Layout, so as to avoid capping. If the "Text Overlaying Display" "check box is selected, no filtering will be performed when the Text in Layout is covered. Show All Text.
Text anti-aliasing
The Text Overlaying Display "check box is used to set a stroke-smoothing, anti-aliasing effect for the display of text in Layout.
Line Antialiasing
Line Antialiasing refers to Display Effects that smooth and anti-alias the lines of a Vector Dataset in a Layout.
