Layout Template Management

Instructions for use

Layput Template is a layout with only fixed frame information, which has general professional generality and standardization. In the Layput Template, in order to meet the needs of dynamic information, some key information will be defined. You can load it into the Layout, then add the necessary map elements, and modify the corresponding key information to complete the layout of the complete map. The Layput Template is applicable to tasks with similar nature and content, such as printing cadastral maps and parcel maps in the cadastral management system. Layput Template is very helpful for users to make standardized and similar layouts in batches, which makes it very convenient to plot maps.

Function entrance

  • Start tab-> Browse group-> Layout.
  • In Workspace Manager, right-click the Layout node, and click the Create Layout item.

Operating instructions

In the Create Layout window. In this window, the system's own Layput Templates are arranged in turn, including 26 Layput Templates such as Blank Layout, Single Map Template, Multiple Map Template, Land Use Planning Template, etc. You can do the following with the Layput Template:

  • Edit Layout Grouping: By default, the template is divided into four groups: "All", "General", "Land Use" and "Others". Click different groups to switch to view the template under the current group. Where the All group contains all Layput Templates.
    • Add Groupe: Click the Add button to Create New Group.
    • Delete Group: Select the pre-delete group and right click Delete to delete the current group.
    • Rename Group: Select the pre-Rename Group and right click Rename to rename the current group.
    • Add Layout Template: Adding a new Layput Template to a group is supported. Click a certain group template button. In the current group list, select the Add Layout Template "option. The Load Template" dialog box will be opened. Open a Layput Template file with the extension *.ult to add the current Layput Template to the group.
  • Edit Layput Template: supports editing, exporting and deleting the existing template.
    • Edit Template: Select an edit template in the layout list area, and right click Edit to open the Save layout to Template Library "dialog box, where you can edit and modify the group, name, author and layout description of the template. Click OK after modification to save the current modification.
    • Export Template: Select the pre-export template, and right click Export to export the current template to a ult Layput Template file with an extension of *. This Template File can be used to make other layouts.
    • Delete Template: Select the pre-delete template and right click Delete to delete the current template. Note: The operation of Delete Template file is not recoverable.
  • Import Template: Click the "Import Template" icon, and the user will open a Layput Template file with an extension of *.ult through the "Load Template" dialog box. The current layout is created based on the loaded Layput Template. If the Datasource and Dataset associated with the map contained in the original Layput Template are different from those in the Current Workspace, Only the north arrow, title, scale bar, and Geometry such as point, line, and surface, as well as map controls that do not fill the map, are loaded into the current Layout.

Export Layout Template

The user can make a Layput Template according to the drawing requirements, save it as a *. Ult Layput Template file, and apply it to other layout making.
