Zoom In and Zoom Out

Zoom In

The Zoom In button is used to enlarge the view of the current layout.

Click the Zoom In button in the Browse Layout group on the Layout tab to switch the operation status to layout enlargement mode.

  • Click to Enlarge: Single-click anywhere on the layout to center-enlarge the view by 200% around the clicked position.
  • Rectangular Area Selection: Click-hold and drag diagonally to define a temporary rectangle. Upon release, the view will be enlarged to fit the rectangle's dimensions. The enlargement ratio is determined by the smaller value between width/height proportions of the layout and selection area, with the rectangle's center becoming the new view center.

Press the Z key to quickly activate the zoom-in operation status.

Zoom Out

The Zoom Out button reduces the view scale of the current layout.

Click the Zoom Out button in the Browse Layout group on the Layout tab to enter zoom-out mode.

  • Click to Reduce: Single-click to center-zoom-out by 50% around the clicked position.
  • Rectangular Area Reduction: Click-hold and drag to define a temporary rectangle. Upon release, the view will be reduced to accommodate the selected area. The reduction ratio uses the smaller width/height proportion, with the rectangle's center as the new view center.

Press the X key to quickly activate the zoom-out operation status.

Free Zoom

The Free Zoom drop-down button provides dynamic scaling controls. The button contains two components:

  1. Main button for immediate function activation

  • For real-time rendering during scaling, use Real-time Free Zoom instead.

Real-time Interactive Scaling

Select Real-time Free Zoom from the drop-down menu for smooth dynamic scaling:

  • Click-hold and drag vertically for continuous scaling with instant visual feedback.
  • Provides fluid transition without temporary blank areas during operation.
