Query route M value

Instructions for use

The Query M-Value function queries the route point or line object with the specified M value in the route layer. It is convenient for the user to know the M value at the specific section of Route Data.

Function entrance

  1. The Route DatasetAdd to Map the window and selects the visible routing layer to be queried in Layer Manager.
  2. Click the Traffic Analysis tab-> Dynamic Segmentation group-> Query M-Value button.

Parameter Description

  • Route object ID: Select all LineMs in the Layer or specify an object.
  • Query Point: Query the M value of the route point.
    • M value query point: input or pick up the M value through the mouse to query the matching route point.
    • Pick points to query M value: Move the mouse to Map to query the route value of the point where the mouse is located. In the process of moving the mouse, an instant message box appears at the end of the mouse to display the route value information of the position where the mouse is located in real time. Including Datasource and Dataset where Route Data is located, GCS (X and Y coordinates), Route object ID and M value where the mouse is located, as shown in the following figure:

  • Query line: The start and end M values can be obtained through input and mouse pickup for query, and the Search Result will be highlighted in the Map.

Note: Hold down the ESC key or click the right mouse button to end the pick, and hold down the ESC key to clear the route point highlighted by Map.
