The layer display function refers to the visibility of layers loaded in the map. Only when a layer is set to be displayed can it be set to selectable, and then perform other operations.
Procedure
The following methods are available to enable layer display:
Using the Display Control Button
In the layer manager, click the display control button of any layer to toggle the display status of that layer individually: When the button is in the display status, the layer is visible; when turned off, the layer is hidden.
Support for batch modification of layer display status:
-
Hold the Ctrl key and click the display control button of any root layer to simultaneously modify the display status of all layers.
-
Hold the Ctrl key and click the display control button within a layer group to simultaneously modify the display status of all layers within that group.
-
Or first batch select the layers whose display status you want to modify, then click the display control button to simultaneously modify the display status of all selected layers.
Using the Context Menu
- Right-click the layer you want to set the display status for.
- In the context menu, select "Displayable" item. When the displayable status in the context menu is activated, the layer is visible; otherwise, the layer is not visible.
Using the Layer Control
- If there is an open map in the current workspace, open the "Layer Control" dialog box using one of the following steps.
- In the layer manager, click the Layer Control button.
- In the layer manager, right-click any layer and select the "Layer Control" command.
- In the "Layer Control" dialog box, select one or more layers, then check the "Displayable" checkbox to set the layer display. For details about the Layer Control, please refer to Layer Control.
Notes:If a layer has been set to displayable but still does not show in the map, there may be the following reasons:
- A filter display setting has been applied to the layer, so the content in the layer has been filtered out. Solution: Remove other filter display settings.
- The layer is overlapped by other layers, preventing it from being displayed. Solution: Move the layer upward until it becomes visible.
