Style Brush

Function Description

The style brush allows you to quickly assign the style of one object to other objects.

  • The style brush is applicable to CAD layers and text layers.
  • Click the Style Brush button to continuously assign styles to multiple objects multiple times.
  • Select multiple geometries of the same type, then click the Style Brush button. The style brush will record the style of the object with the smallest SmID (using that object's style as the base style). Subsequently, objects clicked with the style brush will be assigned that style.
  • Select multiple geometries of different types, then click the Style Brush button. The style brush will record the style of the object with the smallest SmID in each type. When assigning styles, the base style will automatically match the object type to be assigned. That is, a point object's style can only be assigned to other point objects, not to lines, regions, text, etc. Similarly, the style of lines, regions, and text can only be assigned to other lines, regions, and text.
  • The style brush supports cross-layer usage, meaning it can assign the style of the base object to objects in other layers of the current map.
  • When geometries are difficult to select, it is recommended to use the style brush by dragging the mouse to box select.
