Style Brush

Function Description

The Style Brush enables you to quickly apply the style of one object to other objects.

  • The Style Brush function is applicable to CAD layers and text layers.
  • Click the Style Brush button to apply the style to multiple objects continuously.
  • When multiple geometries of the same type are selected and the Style Brush button is clicked, the Style Brush records the style of the object with the smallest SmID (using this object's style as the base style). Objects subsequently clicked with the Style Brush will be assigned this style.
  • When multiple geometries of different types are selected and the Style Brush button is clicked, the Style Brush records the style of the object with the smallest SmID for each type. During style assignment, the base style automatically matches the object type to be assigned, meaning that point object style can only be applied to other point objects, not to lines, polygons, text, etc. Similarly, line, polygon, and text styles can only be applied to other lines, polygons, and text.
  • The Style Brush supports cross-layer usage, meaning that the style of the base object can be applied to objects in other layers in the current map.
  • When geometries are difficult to select, it is recommended to use the Style Brush by dragging the mouse to perform a box selection.
