Change Direction
Function Description
The Change Direction button allows you to change the node order of the selected line or region.
The Change Direction button is only available when the currently selected object contains a line or region, and the selected layer of the object is in an editable state.
The objects that support the node order reversal function include: 2D line objects, line3d, 2D region objects, region3d, and compound.
Function Entry
- Edit Data Tab -> Object Editing Group -> General Editing -> Trimming -> Change Direction
Operation Instructions
- While the layer is editable, select one or more lines or regions. You can press and hold the Shift or Ctrl key to continuously select multiple line or region objects, or use the box selection method to select multiple lines or regions.
- In the Edit Data tab, in the dropdown menu of General Editing, click the Change Direction button in the Trimming group to execute the node order change operation. The direction of the selected object lines will then change.
Notes:- When multi-layer editing is enabled, users can simultaneously select multiple lines or regions from multiple editable layers to change their line directions.
- If the selected multiple geometries include line objects, region objects and other geometries, and there are both editable and non-editable objects, then after performing the change direction operation, only the node directions of editable line and region type geometries can be changed.
