Change Direction
Function Description
The Change Direction button provides the option to change the node order of the selected line or Region.
The Change Direction button is available only when the currently selected object is wired or Region and the selected Layer of Object is editable.
Objects that support node order reversal include: 2D Line, Line3D, 2D Face, Region3D, and Compound.
Function entrance
- Object Operation tab-> Object Editing group drop-down box-> Change Direction.
Operating instructions
- When the layer is editable, select one or more lines or regions. Press and hold the Shift or Ctrl key at the same time to select multiple line or face objects continuously, or select multiple lines or regions by dragging a box.
- When you click the Change Direction button in the Gallery control in the Object Editing group on the Object Operation tab to change the node order, the line direction of the selected object changes.
Caution:
- When Multi-Layer Editing is started, you can select multiple lines or Regions in multiple editable layers at the same time to change their line orientation. If the
- selected Geometry contains line objects, face objects and other Geometry, and there are editable objects and non-editable objects, then after executing the Change Direction operation, You can only change the node orientation of Geometry for editable line and face types.
