Tips:- There are two ways to finish text drawing:
- Right-click anywhere on the map outside the text box area.
- Or click the text drawing button in the Objects group of the Features tab again.
- An along-line text is composed of several sub-texts. A single Chinese character, a continuous string of letters, or a continuous string of digits is considered one sub-text. A space occupies a character position but is not counted as a sub-object, primarily used to separate continuous characters or digits. For example, "中国北京BeiJing China" has six sub-objects: 中, 国, 北, 京, BeiJing, and China. The characters BeiJing and China are separated by a space. If you input continuous letters or digits, they will be treated as a single sub-object and will not be labeled along the line separately. To achieve the along-line labeling effect, use spaces to separate them at appropriate positions. You can view/modify the content of each sub-object in the Text tab of the object's Properties dialog.
- The orientation of along-line text follows the direction of the curve, so pay attention to the direction of the drawn curve when creating along-line text.
- The default text style for a newly created text dataset is: SimSun font, default font size 14, font color black, transparent background.
- If a text style is set when drawing text, it will be saved as the most recent style template and applied to subsequently drawn text.
- When drawing text, you can display superscripts/subscripts by inputting the prescribed expression format for superscripts and subscripts.
