Draw Line

Function Description

The Line command completes the drawing of a line.

Function entrance

  • Object Operation tab-> Object Drawing group-> Line drop-down box-> Line.

Operating instructions

Draw a line through the start point and endpoint

  1. On the Object Operation tab, in the Object Drawing group, click the Line Drop-down Button and select the Line option from the drop-down menu. The line cursor appears.
  2. Move Stop by Mouse to Map, and you can see that the coordinate value of the current mouse position will be displayed in the Parameter Input box in real time as the mouse moves. Enter the coordinate value of the starting point of the line in the Parameter Input box (you can switch between the two Parameter Input boxes by pressing the Tab key) and then press the Enter key to determine the starting position of the line.
  3. Move the mouse again and enter the coordinate value of the other endpoint of the straight line in the Parameter Input box, and press Enter to finish the drawing.
  4. Right-click to end the current drawing operation.

Draw a line by length, angle

  1. On the Object Operation tab, in the Object Drawing group, click the Line Drop-down Button and select the Line (Length, Angle) command. The line cursor appears.
  2. Move Stop by Mouse to Map, and you can see that the coordinate value of the current mouse position will be displayed in the Parameter Input box in real time as the mouse moves. Enter the coordinate value of one node of the line in the text box (you can switch between the two Parameter Input boxes by pressing the Tab key) and then press the Enter key to determine the starting position of the line.
  3. Move the mouse, and you can see that with the movement of the mouse, the length of the line connecting the mouse position and the previous node (starting point of the straight line) and the included angle between the line and the positive direction of the X axis will be marked in the Map in real time. Enter the length and angle values in the Parameter Input box (you can press Tab. Switch between the two Parameter Input boxes) and press Enter to complete the drawing of the segment line.
  4. Right-click to end the line drawing.
