Auto-close Lines Object
Function Description
Auto-close Lines command is used to automatically close objects when drawing polylines, curves, multi-segment lines, and free curves.
A drawn line object must have at least three nodes. Therefore, polylines, elliptical arcs, three-point arcs, Cardinal curves, Bezier curves, B-spline curves, etc., support the auto-close lines object function, while straight lines do not support the auto-close function.
Access Method
- Features tab -> Objects group -> Drawing Settings drop-down menu -> Auto-close Lines Object.
Operation Instructions
- In the Features tab's Objects group, click the Drawing Settings drop-down button, select the Auto-close Lines option in the drop-down menu; or use the Shift+C shortcut to enable the auto-close lines object function. To cancel the auto-close lines object function, click the option again.
- During the draw line feature process, when you right-click to end the drawing action, the currently drawn line will be automatically closed, i.e., auto-connect the first node and the last node of the lines object to form a closed object.
