When one or more datasets are selected in the Workspace Manager, right-click the mouse and choose the Properties option from the context menu. The dataset properties panel will appear on the right side of the map window, displaying the relevant information for the currently selected dataset.

• Multiple datasets can only be selected from the same datasource.
• The top section of the properties panel displays the selected dataset list, and the bottom section will show a directory tree that varies depending on the dataset type. The directory is mainly divided into three categories: Vector Dataset, Raster Dataset, and Image Dataset.

Caution:

• The properties panel not only shows information about one or more selected datasets in the Workspace Manager, but it also displays properties of other elements like Workspace and datasource.
• If the user selects a workspace in the Workspace Manager, the properties panel will display related information for that workspace.
• If the user selects one or more datasources in the Workspace Manager, the properties panel will show the relevant information for the selected datasources.
