Prepare the image data to generate an image tile, and convert the image data into an image dataset in the datasource. This example uses the Day image dataset from the World datasource in the sample data provided with the product to create image tiles.

Open the World datasource in , located at \SampleData\World\World.udb in the product installation directory.
