Import and Export Color Table

Feature Description

SuperMap supports importing external color table files into the Color Table dialog box, and also supports exporting the color table from the dialog box for future use. Currently, two formats of color table files are supported: .sct and .sctu. Among them, *.sct files are the color table file format supported by the earlier versions of SuperMap Desktop, while *.sctu files are the color table format supported by the new SuperMap Desktop.

The exported color table is saved as a separate color table file (*.sctu). Only one color table file can be imported or exported at a time. The color table file records the color values corresponding to different index numbers in the color table.

Procedure

Import Color Table

  1. In the "Color Table" dialog box, click the "Import Color Table" button to open the "Open" dialog.
  2. In the "Open" dialog, select the color table file to import and click "Open". You will see that the imported color table file has been automatically added to the list box area of the color table.

Export Color Table

  1. In the "Color Table" dialog box, click the "Export Color Table" button to open the "Save As" dialog.
  2. In the "Save As" dialog, select the location to export the color table file and click "Save".
