Isolines from Click
Feature Description
The Isolines from Click feature extracts all isolines matching the elevation value at the mouse-click position.
- The source dataset for extracting isolines must be a DEM or Grid dataset.
Application Example
Open the "Terrain" datasource in the "ExerciseData/RasterAnalysis" folder containing 5-meter resolution DEM data, which we'll use for demonstration.
Feature Entry
- Spatial Analysis Tab -> Raster Analysis -> Surface Analysis -> Isolines from Click;
Steps
- Move the cursor over the map (cursor changes to crosshair), then click to select one or multiple points for isoline extraction as shown:
- After selection, right-click to open the "Isolines from Click" dialog displaying coordinates and raster values of selected points.
- Configure common parameters including target dataset, resampling coefficient, smoothing method, and smoothness in parameter settings. For parameter descriptions, see: Common Parameter Description.
