Managing Resource Symbol Library

SuperMap provides point, line, and fill symbol libraries in the resource node of the Workspace Manager for you to manage, create, and edit symbol resources. Point, line, and symbols all offer corresponding selectors and symbol editors for symbol management.

  • Selector: It is mainly used to manage symbols in the symbol library, including managing the storage structure of the marker symbol library, adding/deleting symbols, importing/exporting symbols, importing/exporting symbol libraries, etc. At the same time, the Selector can open the Symbol Editor to create new or edit existing symbols. The Selector is also used to set the styles of points, lines, and symbols; in the Selector, select a symbol and set its color, size, transparency, and other parameters.
  • Symbol Editor: It provides creating new or editing existing symbols, including symbol name, size, shape, etc.

This section introduces how to manage symbol resources from the Marker Symbol Library, Line Symbol Library, and Fill Symbol Library respectively.

  • Marker Symbol Library: This section will introduce the management of the Marker Symbol Selector, including importing/exporting marker symbol libraries, importing/exporting point symbols, introduction to the Marker Symbol Selector interface, and how to create and modify point symbols in the Marker Symbol Editor.
  • Line Symbol Library: This section will introduce how to manage the Line Symbol Selector, including importing/exporting line symbol libraries, importing/exporting line symbols, introduction to the Line Symbol Selector interface, and how to create and modify line symbols in the Linear Symbol Editor.
  • Fill Symbol Library: This section will introduce how to manage the Fill Symbol Selector, including importing/exporting fill symbol libraries, importing/exporting symbols, introduction to the Fill Symbol Selector interface, and how to create and modify symbols in the Filling Symbol Editor.
