Displaying Layers
The layer display feature refers to the visibility of layers loaded into the map. Only when layer display is enabled can a layer be set as selectable for subsequent operations.
Steps
Main methods to enable layer display:
Using Layer Display Button
In the layer manager, click the display control button for each layer. When the button changes to display status, the layer becomes visible. When the button turns off, the layer becomes hidden.
Using Context Menu
- Right-click the layer you want to set to display status.
- Select "Visible" in the context menu. When the visible status is activated in the context menu, the layer becomes displayable; otherwise, it remains hidden.
Using Layer Control
- If there are open maps in the current workspace, open the "Layer Control" dialog through either of these methods:
- Click the layer control button in the layer manager.
- Right-click any layer in the layer manager and select "Layer Control".
- In the "Layer Control" dialog, select one or multiple layers and check the "Visible" checkbox to enable display. For detailed information about layer control, please refer to Layer Control.
Notes
If a layer is already set to visible but still not displayed on the map, possible reasons include:
- Display filtering settings have been applied, causing content to be hidden. Solution: Remove other filtering settings.
- The layer is obscured by other layers. Solution: Move the layer upward until it becomes visible.
