Feature Mirror
Mirror

Feature Description

Mirror button creates symmetrical mirrored objects by flipping selected geometries (non-text) around a specified temporary mirror line. The original selected geometries remain unchanged. The created mirrored objects are copies of the original geometries, positioned as if the original geometries were flipped around the specified temporary mirror line.

Feature Entry

  • Features tab->Feature Editing group dropdown->Mirror.

Steps

  1. Select the geometry (non-text) to mirror in an editable layer. Hold down Shift or Ctrl key to select multiple geometries consecutively, or use drag-box selection.
  2. Click Mirror button in the Gallery control of Feature Editing group under Features tab to execute mirror operation.
  3. Mouse prompt shows: "Please draw a mirror reference line." Left-click to set first point of mirror line, move mouse to preview temporary line, then right-click to confirm the second point. The program will perform mirror operation using this line as the rotation axis.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for subsequent mirror operations.
