Feature Description
Object Split divides line or region objects using selected cutting objects.
The Object Split button is only available when there is an editable layer in the current map containing one or more selected line or region objects.

Feature Entry
- Features Tab->Feature Editing Group->Object Split.
Steps
- Set the target line or region geometry layer to editable in the map.
- Select line or region features in the editable layer as objects to be split. Click the Object Split button in the Feature Editing group under the Features tab to execute the operation.
- When the cursor prompt shows "Please select the object to split", choose a line or region object as the cutting object. The selected object will be divided at intersection points with the cutting object.

- When multi-layer editing is enabled, users can simultaneously split lines or regions across multiple editable layers.
- Only simple 2D line and region objects can be selected as cutting objects. Otherwise, the Output Window will display "The selected object is not a simple 2D point, line, or region object. Please re-select."
