batch import models
Instructions for use
batch import models function can be used to batch import model data from the same folder. The models imported in batch correspond to the same geographic reference origin. Supported model data formats include *.s3mb, *.s3m, *.osgb, *.osg, *.3ds, *.x, *.dxf, *.obj, *.fbx, *.dae, *.stl, *.off, *.sgm, *.gltf, *.flt, *.mod, etc.
Access Points
- Start tab -> Data Processing -> Data Import -> 3D -> Models.
- Toolbox -> Data Import -> Batch Import Models tool.
- workspace manager -> specify data source context menu -> import 3d model -> batch import button.
Operation Steps
- In the Start tab -> Data Processing -> Data Import drop-down button, click the Models button to pop up the Batch Import Models dialog box.
- Click the Add button or Add Folder button, select the target model data in the pop-up dialog box to add the corresponding data to the file list in the dialog box. Among them, by adding a folder, you can batch add all model data in a folder.
- Set parameters as needed, including texture compression format, OBJ rotation method, ignore material color, geographic reference origin, coordinate system settings, etc. For specific parameters, see Batch Import Models.
- After parameters are set, click the Import button to execute the batch import models data operation. After execution is completed, the specified model files will be imported into a model dataset.
