Build Master-Slave Relationships in Batches

Feature Description

In chart production, master-slave relationships between features often exist across large datasets. Manually establishing these relationships one by one is time-consuming and error-prone. The batch build master-slave relationships function significantly improves efficiency, reduces operational errors, and ensures rapid and accurate establishment of hierarchical relationships between features. Additionally, this batch processing helps maintain data consistency and accuracy during large-scale chart updates or data integration.

  • The principle of batch building master-slave relationships is based on coordinate value matching of features. During the process, the system automatically scans the currently edited chart group, checks eligible feature pairs, and establishes master-slave relationships according to their spatial distribution and preset rules. This standardized approach minimizes manual intervention and potential errors.
  • Applicable scenarios:
    • Large-scale chart data updates: Quickly organize feature relationships through batch building when performing mass updates or creating new features.
    • Complex feature system management: Simplify relationship handling for complex multi-level feature systems using batch build.
    • Ensure data consistency: Rapidly re-establish consistent master-slave relationships after multiple data merges or changes.

Steps

  1. In chart data editing mode, open an editable chart group.
  2. Chart Tab -> Relationship Management group -> Master-Slave Relation dropdown -> Click Build Master-Slave Relationships in Batches button.
  3. The system will automatically check eligible features in the current group and build master-slave relationships. Open the Build Master-Slave Relationship dialog details panel to view progress.
  4. Upon completion, the Master-Slave Relationship Management panel will appear on the right, allowing further review and management of results.
