Point Cloud Extraction Ground
Instructions for Use
Classification *. Ground point in lasPoint Cloud Data. After the classification is successful, the ground point category code in the resulting Point Cloud Data will be set to 2, and the non-ground category code will remain the original category code. If the classification of some points conflicts with the ground classification, the corresponding code will be changed to 0 (unclassified).
Each point in Point Cloud Data can be assigned a classification that defines the type of corresponding object, such as ground, vegetation, buildings, and so on. The different categories can be identified using the integer codes in the LAS file, and the classification codes are defined by the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS).
Parameter Description
Parameter Name | Parameter Description | Parameter Type |
---|---|---|
LAS file: | Source Point Cloud Data storage path, currently only supports *.las format. | String |
Ground Sample Spacing: (Optional) | Set the ground sample spacing in units consistent with the point cloud Unit. The default value is 1. The Bounds Settings is recommended to be 0.5-2.0. The lower the value is, the higher the ground simulation accuracy is, the larger the calculation amount is, the longer the calculation time is, and the higher the memory consumption is. | Double |
Steep Fit (Optional) | Set whether or not to do a steep fit. For complex terrain containing steep slopes or terraces, turning on steep slope fitting can better fit steep slope terrain and improve classification accuracy. |
Boolean |
Target path: | Set the Save path of the resulting Point Cloud Data (*.las). | String |
Target Name: (Optional) | Set the File Name of the resulting Point Cloud Data (*.las). | String |
