3D Clipping

Instructions for use

The tool can clip 2D point/line/region and 3D point/line/region/model data based on certain clipping bounds, and obtain the data in the clipping region or outside the clipping region.

Parameter Description

Parameter Name Parameter Description Parameter Type
Source Dataset Select 2D point/line/region or 3D point/line/region/Model Dataest to be cropped. DatasetVector
Dataset for Clipping
(Optional)
When using specified dataset to determine clipping bounds, select the region dataset that identifies the clipping bounds.
It is recommended that clipping bounds be determined by this parameter when using iServer.
DatasetVector
Clip Path:
(Optional)
When custom bounds, enter the bounding box that identifies the face data for the clipping bounds. GeoRegion
Clip Mode:
(optional)
Sets the clipping mode. Options include Keep Inside (or Reserved Area) and Keep Outside (or Outside the reserved Area).
  • Keep Inside (or Reserved Area): indicates that the Result Data obtained is the data
  • Keep Outside (or Outside the Reserved Area): indicates that the result data obtained is the data outside the clipping area.
    ClippingType
    Target Data Source
    (Optional)
Sets the datasource where result data is stored. The default is the source datasource. Datasource
    Result Dataset Name
    (Optional)
Sets the name of the result dataset. String
