Feature Description

The Draw Line to Modify Border feature allows adjusting the boundary of selected polygon objects based on a newly drawn line, enabling users to quickly modify polygon boundaries without using edit nodes.

• This feature is applicable to polygon layers.
• The operation requires first selecting the target polygon. The newly drawn line must intersect with the polygon boundary at two or more points.

Feature Entry

• Features Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Draw Line to Modify Border.

Steps

1. In the Features tab's Feature Editing group, click the Draw Line to Modify Border button in the Gallery control to execute the operation.
2. When the cursor changes to a crosshair with the prompt: "Please draw a line intersecting with the selected object at two or more points," begin drawing the line. Right-click to finish drawing and complete boundary modification. As shown below:
