Function Description

The Fill Gap function can merge gaps into existing polygon objects, and supports batch operations. Users can quickly fill gaps between or within polygon objects.

Fill Gap is applicable to polygon layers.

Function Entry

• Edit Data tab ->Object Editing group ->Face editing->Hole treatment->Fill Gap.

Instructions

1. In the Edit Data tab, in the Object Editing group, click the Face editing dropdown menu, then click the Fill Gap button in the Hole treatment group;
2. In the map, left-click to select the polygon object to which the gap should be merged.
3. Select the gaps and right-click to finish. iDesktop X provides two drawing methods to select gaps. Press Ctrl+Q to switch between drawing methods:
   • Single Fill

     Draw a point in the gap to fill a single gap. The process is as follows:

     

   • Area Fill:

     Draw a polygon covering the gaps to fill one or more gaps. The process is as follows:
