Enable Dynamic Projection

Dynamic Projection is when two data with different projection systems are loaded in the Map, One of the Projected Coordinate System is converted (the Data Conversion loaded later is converted into a Coordinate System consistent with the projection of the Current Map), so that the projection systems of the two systems are consistent. Ensure that the data in the same area or adjacent areas can be superimposed and displayed.

The Dynamic Projection option in the Coordinate System panel under the Map Properties interface is used to control whether each layer of the map in the current Map is converted to the same projection for display through Dynamic Projection. It indicates to perform Dynamic Projection; when this item is not checked, Dynamic Projection will not be performed.

As shown in the figure below, the data of a region is stored in two Datasets and the two Datasets use different Projection Types. Therefore, when the two Datasets are added to a Map for display, the two data will be displayed in a staggered manner, that is, inconsistent with the actual situation.

If the Dynamic Projection "check box is not checked, when two data with different projections are added to the same Map, the Coordinate System Prompts" dialog box will pop up, and you can click the Yes button in the dialog box. Dynamic Projection is automatically turned on.

After Dynamic Projection is enabled, the two data will be displayed in the Map using a unified projection. The display effect is shown below.

When Dynamic Projection is enabled, Transformation Parameters of projection can be set, and the user can click the Transformation Parameters "button to pop up the Parameter Settings" dialog box. Set the Projection Transformation parameter. Refer to the Dataset transform projection for Detail Description of Parameter Settings.

Caution:

Web maps (including OGC, HyperMap Cloud Service, Google Maps, etc.) do not support Dynamic Projection.
