The user can make Style Settings for the text by Style Settings tab and Layer Style panel . Only when there is a selected Text in the Map and the text layer is editable, can Style Settings be performed on the selected Text.
Style Settings tab
On the Style Settings tab, the Text Style group is used to set the style of text in a text layer. Functions in this group are available only when the current layer is a text layer and the text layer is set editable, and there is a selected text.
The Application provides a series of Text Style Settings options. The user can modify the Text Style of one or more selected Texts in the current layer by setting Parameters.
Each label button in the Text Style group is described below:
- The Font button is used to set the font of Text in the text layer. The drop-down list in the combo box on the right side of the label control provides a variety of fonts for the user to choose.
- The Font Size button is used to set the size of the text font in the text layer. You can either enter the value of Font Size or select the appropriate Font Size from the drop-down list in the combo box on the right side of the label control.
- The Bold button is used to control whether the font of Text in the text layer is bold. When the button is pressed, the font is bold. If the button is not pressed, the font is not bold.
- The Italic button is used to control whether the font of Text in the text layer is italic. When the button is pressed, the font is italic. If the button is not pressed, the font is not italic.
- The Outline button is used to control whether the font of Text in the text layer has outline decoration. When the button is pressed, it means that the font has outline decoration. At the same time, the Outline Color button on the Text Style group is available. The user can click the button to set the outline color of Text in the pop-up color panel; If the button is not pressed, the font has no outline decoration. Text outline decoration and text Background are mutually exclusive, that is, they cannot be used for text decoration at the same time.
- The Underline button is used to control whether to add an underline under the Text in the text layer. When the button is pressed, it indicates that there is an underline under the text. If the button is not pressed, there is no underline under the text.
- The Strikeout button is used to control whether the Text in the Text layer is added with a strikeout line. When the button is pressed, it indicates that the text has a strikeout line. If the button is not pressed, the text has no strikeout line.
- The Shadow button is used to control whether the text in the Text layer has a shadow. When the button is pressed, it means that the text has a shadow. If the button is not pressed, the text has no shadow, and the text shadow color cannot be set.
- The Fixed Size button is used to control whether Text in the text layer is Fixed Size. When the button is pressed, it means that the text size does not change with the zoom of the map; if the button is not pressed, it means that the text size is zoomed with the zoom of the map.
- The Background Transparency button is used to control whether the text in the Text layer is Background Transparency. When the button is pressed, it indicates that the text is Background Transparency. If a button is not pressed and the text background is opaque and the Background button on the Text Style group is available, the user can click the button to set the color of the text background in the pop-up color panel. Text Background and text outline decoration are mutually exclusive, that is, they cannot be used for text decoration at the same time.
- The Foreground Color button is used to set the color of Text in the text layer. By clicking this button, the user can select and set the appropriate color in the pop-up color panel, or set the required text color through the custom color Area.
- The Rotation Angle button is used to set the text rotation angle of Text in the text layer. You can select a suitable Rotation angle from the combo box drop-down list on the right side of the text box, or click the Custom button and enter a precise Rotation angle in the Rotation Settings dialog box that pops up.
- Alignment of Text and page margin in the text layer can be set, which are left alignment, Center alignment, right alignment and Justify alignment from left to right. The user can click on the relevant type to set the Alignment of the text in the margin.
- Text Templete: In the Text Templete group, text style templates that provide some common scales are organized through the gallery container for immediate use. Select one of the templates to apply the style of the template to the selected Text. Click the Text Templete drop-down menu to browse to the Text Templete for more scale bars. Click the Template Management button at the bottom of the panel, and manage the System Template and User Custom templates in a unified way in the pop-up dialog box.
Style panel
Select the Text to be modified in the current layer in Map, and right click to select Object Style to pop up the Text Style panel. You can view or reset the style parameters of the selected Text. If the current text layer is not editable, you can only view the Style Settings parameters of Text in the property window and cannot modify them; if the current text layer is editable, you can also reset the Style Settings of Text in the property window.
