In Application, the symbol library window has two forms of expression. One is the "Selector" window, which is mainly used to load, browse and manage symbol library files. The other is the "Style Settings" window, which can be used to set the style of point, line and surface objects, and also to load, browse and manage symbol library files. The interface and operation mode of these two types of symbol library windows are basically the same, and no other introduction will be made unless there is anything special.
There are several ways to open the symbol library window:
- Open Symbol Library window from Workspace Manager:
- Open the Style Settings window from Layer Manager:
- Open the Style Settings window from the Style Settings "tab on the ribbon:
- Other means:
In Workspace Manager, Expand the resource node. There are three sub-nodes under it: Marker Symbol Library, Line Library and Fill Library, which respectively manage point symbol, line symbol and fill symbol. The symbol library window can be opened through the Context Menu of any child node.
In Layer Manager, double-click the symbol icon for a layer node to open the Style Settings window.
The Style Settings "tab associated with a Map (or Layout) on the ribbon lets you set the Marker Style of a map layer (or layout element), and also opens the Style Settings window while setting the Marker Style.
In addition to the above approaches, there are other ways to open the symbol library window.
