Add Data

MapAdd Dataset is supported. When the Dataset is opened in the map, a layer will be automatically generated in Layer Manager to control its visibility, editability, etc. In the map.

Provides four ways to Add Layer to the map:

  • Method 1: Select the Dataset to be added in Workspace Manager and drag it to Map directly; or select Add to New Map or Add to Current Map in DatasetContext Menu. Batch Add Dataset is supported.
  • Method 2: In Map, right click and select Add Data. Select Dataset in the pop-up Select dialog box.
  • Method 3: Select Create Map in the Map Node Context Menu of Workspace Manager to select Dataset in the pop-up Select dialog box.

Caution:
  • If the Image Data added to the map is too large, the "Prompt" dialog box will pop up, and the user is advised to Add to Map the window after the Create Image Pyramid to speed up the Display Speed. When loading multiple Image Datasets at the same time, if the user selects "Perform this operation for datasets" ", all Image Datasets with large memory added at this time will be Create Image Pyramid. And load into a Map.
  • If the Vector Dataset added to the map is too large, the Application will check the data set index, and the user will be prompted to Create Spatial Index when the number of data objects is greater than 2000 and No Spatial Index. To speed up the Display Speed in the map when the Dataset volume is large.
