In the process of Pan, zoom in, zoom out and other operations in the current Map, the Application will record the different pictures generated in the Map, which is called the map view. The Map Bookmark function provides the function of saving the map view at a certain time as a bookmark in the process of browsing the map, which is convenient for the user to return to the state of a saved view.

• It supports the management of map bookmarks and provides Bookmark Management functions such as Add Bookmark and Delete Bookmark.
• Support the function of viewing front view and rear view. (Supported on iDesktop only)

Operating instructions

There are two ways to enter the Bookmark function:

• In the "Map" tab "Browse" group, click the "Bookmark" button to pop up the "Add Bookmark" "dialog box.
On the right side of the
• Map Status Bar, click the "Bookmark" button to pop up the "Add Bookmark" "dialog box. (Supported on iDesktop only)

If "Bookmark" Drop-down Button is clicked, Add Bookmark, Delete Bookmark and Bookmark Management buttons are listed in the pop-up drop-down menu, and all view thumbnails saved as bookmarks and saving time are displayed. Click any bookmark, and the view in the current Map will be presented as the selected map view.

• Add Bookmark: If the user needs to save the map view at a certain time, he can click the "Bookmark" Drop-down Button, and click the "Add Bookmark" Item "in the pop-up drop-down menu to pop up the" Add Bookmark "" dialog box. You can save the map view of Current Time as a bookmark by editing Name and Description.

  Note: Only one bookmark can be added in the map view of the same center point at the same scale.

• Delete Bookmark: Click the Bookmark Drop-down Button, select the thumbnail of a bookmark to be deleted in the pop-up drop-down menu, and click the Delete Bookmark "item to delete the selected bookmark.
• Bookmark Management: Click the "Bookmark" Drop-down Button, and click the "Bookmark Management" "item in the pop-up drop-down menu to pop up the" Bookmark Settings "panel.

  In this panel, the names and categories of all saved bookmarks are listed. Users can rename and delete the bookmarks in the list in this dialog box.

  • Modify book mark properties: Select a bookmark item in the bookmark list and click the button to modify the Name and Description.
  • Delete: Select one or more bookmarks in the bookmark list, click Select All or Select Inversely in the auxiliary dialog box, and click Delete to delete the selected bookmarks.
  • Move Up/Move Down: Select a bookmark item in the bookmark list, and click Move Up or Move Down to adjust the order of bookmarks.
