Turn on Multi-layer Editing
In the Map Editing group on the Object Operation tab, the Multi-layer Editing check box controls whether the editing state in the current Map is in the Multi-layer Editing state; If this check box is selected, the Multi-layer Editing status of the current Map is enabled. If this check box is not selected, only one layer of the current Map is in the editing status. Application does not enable Multi-layer Editing by default.
- If the current Map is in Multi-layer Editing status, there can be multiple editable map layers in the Map. When the user selects an object in the Map, the Layer of Object will automatically switch to the current layer. At this time, the content of the layer can be edited.
- If the current Map is not in the Multi-layer Editing state, only one editable layer can exist in the Map. If you want to edit other layers in the Map, you need to switch the editable state of the setting layer frequently.
- The Multi-layer Editing function facilitates the user to edit different layers in the Map and reduces the user's operation.
Specifies the current layer
In Multi-layer Editing, the Current layer combo box allows you to specify the currently edited and operated layer. Click the Drop-down Button on the right to toggle the currently edited layer in the drop-down menu. If the selected layer is not editable, switching Current Layer to the layer will automatically switch the layer to the editable state.
