Modify Image Pyramid

Function Description

For images or Raster Dataset that have been created Pyramid, it is supported to Create Image Pyramid again through the Modify Image Pyramid function.

Function Entry

  • Start tab-> Data Processing group-> Image Pyramid-> Image Pyramid Manager dialog.
  • Workspace Manager-> Context Menu for Image (or raster) Dataset-> Modify Image Pyramid-> Image Pyramid Manager Dialog.

Delete Image Pyramid

Function Description

Images created with Image Pyramid and Raster Dataset can be deleted. However, for Image Files opened in the form of Datasource, such as tiff and IMG format data, Delete Image Pyramid cannot be performed.

Function entrance

  • Start tab-> Data Processing group-> Image Pyramid button-> Image Pyramid Manager dialog-> Delete.
  • Workspace Manager-> Image (or raster) DatasetContext Menu-> Delete Image Pyramid.
Hint:
    The Image Pyramid button is available
  • only if there is a Datasource open in the Current Workspace.
    • The pyramid of Image Files added in the form of file
  • cannot be deleted. Please directly delete the *.ovr file corresponding to the File Position where the image is located.
