Instructions for use

Obtain the elevation information corresponding to the point data (2D) according to the elevation information of Raster Data, and output the result as 3D Point Dataset.

Function entrance

• Spatial Analysis tab-> Raster Analysis group-> Raster Statistics-> Elevation Statistics.
• Toolbox-> Raster Analysis-> Raster Statistics-> Elevation Statistics. (iDesktopX)

Parameter Description

• Point data: Select the Point Dataset (2D) for which the elevation information needs to be counted, including the Datasource and Dataset where the point data is located.
• Raster Data: select the Raster Data of the elevation information source, including the Datasource and Dataset where the Raster Data is located.
• Result Data: Set the Result Parameter, including the Datasource of the Result Dataset to be saved and the name of the generated Elevation Point Dataset.

Remark

Description of Statistics Result:

The generated Result Dataset is a 3D Point Dataset. View its attribute table, in which the SMZ field is Elevation Field, which records the elevation information of each point in Raster Data.
