Sample data China400 is used for this example.

Basic Steps:

1. Start .
2. On the Start tab, in the Workspace group, click the Open drop-down button and click File... in the drop-down list that appears. Or you can right click on the workspace node in the Workspace Manager and click Open File Workspace.
3. The Open Workspace dialog box shows up. Navigate to \SampleData\China, click China400.udb, and then click Open.
4. The datasource is opened in the workspace.
5. Click the the plus sign before the China400 node under the Datasources node in the Workspace Manger to unfold it. Select Capital_P, Provinces_R, District_Lm, Neighbor_R, MainWater_L, SeaLabel_T, and MapDivision_L, right click to display the context menu and click Add to New Map to add the selected datasets to a new map.

   Below is the introduction to each dataset.

6. Save the map for later use. Next time you open the map, you don't need to add these dataset again.
