Creating Default Uniform Label Maps

Introduction

Create a uniform or Uniform label for administrative region map for the current vector layer.

When using the thematic map templates, it needs to make sure that fields exist. If the current layer does not have the fields of thematic map, a prompt dialog box will pop up, as shown below.

Basic Steps

1. Select a vector layer in the Layer Manager.
2. Click Uniform or Uniform label for administrative region in Label Map list.
3. A uniform label map in default style is created for the vector layer and the thematic map is added to the Layer Manager as a thematic map layer.
4. Select the label expression according to the requirements, and modify the corresponding style to get the label expression. The detailed style setting, please refer to Modify the Uniform Label Map.

Note

The Uniform or Uniform label for administrative region manager will show up after creating a uniform label map for a vector layer. You can change the default settings in the Uniform Label Map Manager to get more favorable effects.
