Snap Types
The description and illustration of snap types are shown in the following table:

| Point snapping to endpoints |
Move the cursor to the endpoint of an existing line or polygon boundary line, and a snap prompt will appear. Click the left mouse button to draw a point at the endpoint. |

Move the cursor to the midpoint of an existing line segment, and a snap prompt will appear. Click the left mouse button to draw a point at the midpoint of the line segment. |

| Point snapping to nodes |
Move the cursor to an existing point or node of an object, and a prompt will appear. Click the left mouse button to draw an overlapping point. |

| Point snapping to lines | Move the cursor to an existing line object, and a prompt will appear. Click the left mouse button to draw a point on the line object. | ![]() |
| Point snapping to extensions | Move the cursor to the extension line of an existing line segment, and a prompt will appear. Click the left mouse button to draw a point at that location, facilitating the drawing of an extended line. | ![]() |
