Sort Datasets
Function Description
Sort datasets is used to sort the datasets in this datasource. Essentially, it sorts the nodes under the datasource node in the Workspace Manager where the 'All Data' collection is located.
The new dataset node is sorted by default in the order that datasets are added to the datasource. The most recently created dataset is automatically added to the bottom of the 'All Data' collection under the current data source node.
Feature Entry
- In the Workspace Manager, for a certain Datasource, in the context menu, select the Sort Datasets item.
Parameter description
- Sort by Name: Under the node corresponding to the current data source, the nodes where the 'All Data' collection is located will be reordered based on the names displayed for those nodes.
- Sort by Type: Under the node corresponding to the current data source, the nodes where the 'All Data' collection is located will be sorted based on the types of the corresponding datasets.
- Sort by Creation Order: Under the node corresponding to the current data source, the nodes where the 'All Data' collection is located will be sorted based on the chronological order in which the corresponding datasets were created.
- Sort by Object Count Order: Under the node corresponding to the current data source, the nodes where the 'All Data' collection is located will be sorted in ascending order based on the object count in the corresponding datasets and categorized by type.
