Openness analysis
Openness analysis is based on a certain observation radius relative to a certain observation point, constructing a "hemisphere of view" to simulate the visibility around the observation point, so as to analyze the openness centered on the observation point.
Openness analysis is often used to analyze and evaluate the openness of urban parks, urban squares, urban buildings and other spaces. It can also be used as a reference to measure building spacing, building density and visible sky at the current location. It is often applied to urban planning and other fields.
Operating steps
- Click 3D Spatial Analysis - Openness Analysis to switch to the Openness Analysis panel.
- Check whether to display the visible area, invisible area and the color of the corresponding area. You can also check all parameters by checking all display.
- Click Analysis , click the left mouse button to pick observation points in the scene, and the analysis results will be generated in real time.
- The analysis results can be changed in real time by adjusting the observation radius. Observation Radius is the radius used to set the viewing hemisphere in meters, and the default value is 150.
- The results of openness analysis are shown in the figure below.
- After the analysis is finished, click Clear to clear the analysis results in the scene.
