Profile analysis is an analysis method for calculating and extracting the undulations and contours of data on a certain section

Profile analysis is applicable to terrain, city fine model and oblique photography 3D model data.

Profile analysis is widely used in engineering site selection, facility site selection, pipeline layout, coal mining, land use planning and so on.

Operating steps

1. Click 3D Analysis -> Profile Analysis to switch to the Profile Analysis Settings panel.



2. Click Analyze to start profile analysis. In the 3D scene, click the left mouse button to select the start point and the end point of the profile analysis.
3. After clicking and picking, profile analysis results will be generated and profile information will be output. The panel displays the picked start and end information, including longitude, latitude, and altitude.
4. The section information display is checked by default, and can also be cancelled. The section height can also be adjusted after the result is output. The section map will change in real time according to the change.
5. The profile analysis results are shown in the figure below.



6. Click Clear to clear the analysis results from the 3D scene.
