Submerged process representation
Submerging process expression is to dynamically simulate the submerging process of a certain area according to parameters such as maximum/minimum elevation value and submerging velocity. This function is applicable to terrain data.
Submerged process expression can be widely used in flood control, emergency rescue, hydraulic engineering site selection, building site selection and so on.
Operating steps
- After loading terrain data, click Terrain Analysis - Submerged Process Expression to switch to the Submerged Line Analysis Settings panel.
- Select the analysis layer as needed, and set parameters such as color table, maximum visible elevation, minimum visible elevation, submergence speed, total time, etc. by typing values directly or moving the slider bar. where the maximum and minimum visible elevations are in meters, the submergence velocity is in m/s, and the total time is in s.
- Click Analyze again to start the Submerged Process Expression, which simulates the Submerged Process Expression.
- Click Stop to interrupt the submerged process expression process and click Analyze to continue the analysis, as needed.
- The results of the submerged process expression are shown below.
- After the analysis is finished, click Clear to clear the analysis results in the scene.
